Parampujya Sri Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji, the successor of Parampujya Sri Sivaratna Puri Swami, fondly known as Trichyswami, visited Kauai Aadheenam for a three-day stay this past week. This marked Mahaswamiji’s third visit to the monastery, following his earlier visits in 2008 and 2011.
A key highlight of the visit was the sacred homa performed by Mahaswamiji at Kadavul Temple, a spiritual practice he observes during each of his visits to the Aadheenam. During the stay, Mahaswamiji expressed his wish to make Kauai Aadheenam the first stop on all his future world tours, reflecting his deep connection with the monastery.
Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji is the head of Kailash Ashrama, one of South India’s respected spiritual institutions, which follows the Sri Vidya tradition, with Goddess Rajarajeswari as the Iṣṭa Devatā. The visit was marked by devotion, reflection, and a strengthening of spiritual bonds between the two monastic traditions.
