Paramapujya Srimatparamahamsa Parivrajakacharya Sachidananda Pranavaswarupa Paramacharya Jagadguru
Sri Sri Sri
Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji
Peetadhipathi, Sri Kailash Ashrama Mahasamsthana
Satsang presents beautifully before you
how you ought to have the means of
perception under your control.

Paramapujya Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji is the successor to Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal. Presently, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji is the Peethadhipathi of Sri Kailash Ashrama Mahasamsthana, who has dedicated Himself to bring awarness of Bhaarateeya Sanskruti across the world. Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji conveys that Bharateeya Sanskruti has always visualized and fostered the profound divine concept of Vasudhaivakutumbakam - the world as one family.
Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji stresses on the return of Human Consciousness to Mother Nature and her balance of manifestations. Humanity has a huge responsibility to protect Dharmic values both in maintaining this delicate balance and energetically re-inforcing the preserves of various life forms, flora, fauna across land, air and water, wisely regulating technological development.
Through his mastery of South Indian languages, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, German, and Italian, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji speaks to the heart of every seeker, wherever they may be from.

Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji divinely manifested on the 20th of October 1960. His childhood, happy and fulfilling as it was, found its roots in the principles of Bhaaratiya Sanskruti. Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji excelled in every stage of life, in all its activities and expressions. Success was a constant shadow which did not come in the way of life of perfect equanimity. What is awe-inspiring is that when Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji read the Scriptures for the first time at the age of 27, everything resonated completely as His very existence.

Meeting the Guru - Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamiji
Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji felt inspired to make His way to Sri Kailash Ashrama Mahasamsthana. Upon meeting Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal in 1987, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji knew immediately that He had found His Guru. There was not even a trace of doubt in His mind, which was already a reflection of Divine Consciousness. Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji humbly expressed that his aim in life was to attain the Divine Mother in all divinity and beauty. For this, He felt a total renunciation in the form of sanyasa was essential.

A Sojourn to North India
Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji was asked to wait and in due course was accepted as a disciple. A month later, He was sent to Haridwar to learn Sanskrit and the Scriptures and to serve Paramapujya Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prakashanandji Maharaj. Just before He left to Haridwar, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji received the robes of Brahmacharya. He lived in Haridwar and North India for seven-and-a-half years.
Taking up sannyasa
Early in 1989, before the Allahabad Kumbha Mela, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji wrote to Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal seeking initiation into Sannyasa. Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal finally gave Him permission with instructions that the ceremony in Haridwar be conducted with Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal as His Guru. In Haridwar, Paramapujya Sri Mahaswamiji kept to Himself and performed His disciplines immaculately. On completing His duties and study, He returned to Sri Kailash Ashrama Mahasamsthana to serve Devi and His Guru.
When Parampujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal was asked why
He chose Parampujya Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji as his successor
Paramapujya Sri Tiruchi Mahaswamigal said “Sri Jayendra Puri Swami is well educated and dedicated to Sadhana. Along with a thorough knowledge of the shastras, he carries on the tradition of the ashram with complete devotion. He is compassionate. He has concern for the poor and works for thewelfare of all. He is calm and composed. He understands our sampradaya (spiritual lineage).”
